TECHNOLOGY
Three layers. One platform. From the nozzle to the cloud to the command center.
The Physical Layer — BLADE, TITAN, Crux. Our hardware is CFD-optimized to make water work harder. Blade nozzles deliver 3× faster suppression with 67% less water. TITAN IoT monitors stabilize master streams in wind and stream live flow data continuously. Crux replaces analog pressure estimation with AI-driven pump control — autopilot for the pump operator. Every device suppresses fire and instruments the fight at the same time.
The Data Layer — FLUID-IQ. Every nozzle, monitor, and pump in the field is a node. Flow, pressure, GPS, suppression curves — streamed in real time into FLUID-IQ, our AI and cloud platform. Physics-Informed Neural Networks train on the world's only ground-truth fireground dataset. Models improve with every incident. Over-the-air updates push smarter controls back to the hardware. The moat compounds with every install.
The Application Layer — Star-IQ. Real-time AI for the incident commander. Live dashboards replace paper T-cards. Predictive intelligence surfaces what's about to happen, not just what already did. Decision support directly mitigates the NIOSH-5 failure modes that drive line-of-duty deaths. Star-IQ runs standalone or on top of HEN hardware—and gets sharper with every engine that joins the network.
Predict. Deploy. Suppress.
This is not a smarter nozzle. This is not another piece of software. This is the first integrated Physical AI platform for fire defense — engineered for chiefs, built for the fireground.
The fire service has evolved. The system that fights for it finally has too.

THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
For decades, firefighters had to choose between two nozzle types: the traditional solid stream for reach and penetration or the fog nozzle for pattern versatility. While the fog nozzle introduced an adjustable stream, it could never truly replicate the effectiveness of a solid stream. The fire service was forced to compromise—until now.
At HEN® Nozzles, we’ve changed the game. Our patented solid stream BLADE™ nozzle delivers both a traditional solid stream and a variable-pattern solid linear BLADE™ stream in a single, high-performance design. No more compromises. No more limitations. Just unmatched control, superior water placement, and increased suppression efficiency—exactly what today’s firefighters need.
Many call it the best of both worlds—we call it the future of fire suppression.

ADVANCED DESIGN AND ENGINEERING
At HEN® Nozzles, we don’t rely on outdated
designs—we engineer from the ground up. Using advanced manufacturing and cutting-edge Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), we’ve created a fire nozzle that optimizes fire suppression rates like never before. With 10 patent applications filed, our technology isn’t just innovative—it’s setting a new industry standard.
Our combination smoothbore BLADE™ technology is the only nozzle on the market that delivers the perfect trifecta of fire suppression performance:
-
Long Reach – Delivers powerful, targeted water placement
-
Wide Coverage – Maximizes knockdown efficiency
-
Wind-Stable Large Droplets – Maintains effectiveness in dynamic fireground conditions
This isn’t just evolution—it’s a revolution in firefighting technology. When every second counts, HEN® Nozzles deliver unmatched performance where it matters most.

HISTORY OF NOZZLES
For over a century, fire nozzles remained fundamentally unchanged. Early designs were simple tapered pipes, delivering water where needed but offering no flexibility. As the fire service evolved, so did its demands—leading to the creation of the fog nozzle, which introduced adjustable stream patterns. However, the fog nozzle came with a major compromise: it could never fully replicate the reach, penetration, and efficiency of a true solid stream.
For over seven decades, firefighters had only two options: solid stream for power or fog for versatility—until HEN® Nozzles changed the game.
Our patented combination smoothbore BLADE™ nozzle is the first true advancement in fire nozzle technology in over 70 years. Firefighters finally have one nozzle that delivers both the reach of a traditional smoothbore and the adaptability of a variable solid linear BLADE™ stream.
No more trade-offs. No more limitations. Just superior performance when it matters most.
