Structural Fires Today

Why Modern Structural Fires Burn Faster

Modern fires spread faster than ever before due to synthetic materials in furnishings, interior finishes, and the growing use of lithium-ion batteries. These batteries, found in electronics, power tools, and electric vehicles, can reach thermal runaway and explode within 15 seconds of smoke detection. Firefighters need advanced tools to combat these high-intensity fires effectively.

HEN STRUCTURAL SYSTEM

ONE SYSTEM.  EVERY SCENARIO.

HEN replaces decades of compromise with connected, physics-engineered hardware. Solid stream or wide pattern in one quarter-turn, with no settings to memorize.

BLADE™ NOZZLE

TWO STREAMS. ONE QUARTER-TURN.

A patented combination smoothbore with quarter-turn from a tight solid stream to a wide linear BLADE pattern. Reach and versatility in one nozzle, with no fog setting to second-guess.

FORCE™ SHUTOFF

MORE FLOW.
LESS FIGHT

A stainless shutoff with a built-in HEN TURBO back-pressure device.  That's 175 GPM at just 45 PSI nozzle pressure. Cuts hose whip, kinking, and nozzle reaction so your crew fights the fire, not the line.

TURBO™ INCREASER

BACK-PRESSURE, DIALED IN.

Raises hoseline back pressure by 25–30 PSI while keeping the nozzle at its intended pressure — the foundation for predictable, repeatable flow on every line.

The Ultimate Solution for Structural Fire Suppression

The Physics

Surface Cooling, Coverage,
& Gas Cooling

Smoothbore nozzles penetrate but barely cover. Fog nozzles cover but evaporate before they cool. The BLADE™ combines big penetrating droplets with a wide linear pattern for superior surface cooling and effective gas contraction.  It's the best of both, in one quarter-turn.

HEN BLADE Nozzle

Smoothbore Reach.  Fog Coverage.

The BLADE™  combines the reach and penetration of smoothbore nozzles with the wide coverage of fog nozzles, ensuring maximum fire control. Its unique in-line BLADE pattern enables rapid knockdown and creates survivable space, making it an essential tool for modern structural firefighting.
