HEN Technologies is the first fully integrated platform for fire defense — engineered hardware, a proprietary data layer, and real-time AI command software, all in one company.
Founded in 2020 by Sunny Sethi, PhD, against the backdrop of California's worst wildfire decade on record, HEN exists because the fireground had been a black box for fifty years — and the technology fighting modern fires hadn't kept pace with the fires themselves.
We started with what physics could fix: nozzles, monitors, and pump controls re-engineered from the ground up. But every device we ship is also a sensor, generating ground-truth suppression telemetry no satellite, drone, or camera can replicate. That data trains FLUID-IQ, our AI platform. FLUID-IQ powers STAR-IQ — the real-time AI for incident command that replaces paper, radio, and intuition with live operational intelligence.

Today, more than 1,500 organizations across 15+ countries deploy HEN — including CAL FIRE, all four U.S. military branches, BP, Alaska Airlines, and over 1,000 municipal fire departments. We sell through 110+ distributors and three OEM partners. Our research has been backed by the National Science Foundation, our company by Series A lead O'Neil Strategic Capital, and our roadmap by an advisory bench that includes the former U.S. Fire Administrator and globally recognized fireground commanders.
