Marc Friddell Sr. is a retired Deputy Chief with the Willingboro Fire Department and 34 years of service. Marc has held key leadership roles guiding the department through both routine operations and critical incident response. In addition, Marc is a Fire Instructor with the Burlington County Emergency Services Training Center, where he has served in several roles, including eight years as a Senior Fire Instructor. He holds an Associate of Science degree in Fire Science Technology from Rowan College of Burlington County and has contributed his expertise on numerous boards and commissions as a trusted subject matter expert.

Hello, I’m Jeff Russell from North Carolina. I’ve spent nearly 25 years in the fire service, including 20 years with a career department where I currently serve as a Lieutenant. My biggest passions are engine company operations, water supply, and pumping operations. I’m also a qualified North Carolina Instructor for Firefighter, Driver Operator Pumps, Driver Operator Aerials, and Driver Operator Water Supply. Over the course of his career, he held leadership roles including Deputy Chief, Battalion Chief, Captain, Lieutenant, and Firefighter/EMT. As Deputy Chief, Jim managed and supervised large-scale suppression operations across the City of Philadelphia, overseeing staffing for up to 31 fire companies. Jim previously served in the US Army being station in Frankfurt, Germany.

I began my journey as a Fire Explorer in the bay area, followed by a short period with CAL Fire (CDF at the time) and have been with the Sacramento Fire Department for 19 years. I work as a Firefighter on Engine 6 in Oak Park. I have a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Services Management from Union Institute & University and an Associate of Science in Fire Science Technology from Chabot College. I teach multiple SFT classes (FC3, ILFT-FF, ILFT-AS, RIC, FFS) and have served as a drill instructor for the Sacramento Fire Academy, the California Regional Fire Academy, and currently as the operations officer of the American River College Fire Academy. I am the Live Fire Training Coordinator for the Sacramento Fire Training Division.
