Conner Arnold is a 10-year career firefighter and Lieutenant with the Oklahoma City Fire Department and the owner of 1st Due Fire Training, delivering advanced instruction nationwide in live fire operations, engine and truck functions, fire behavior, technical rescue, and instructor development. With Fire Instructor II, Fire Officer I, NFPA 1403 Live Fire Instructor, and numerous technical rescue certifications, he brings more than one thousand documented burns and extensive experience in both fixed facility and acquired structure training. His teaching style combines operational credibility with strong technical understanding to prepare firefighters to perform safely and effectively across the full range of fireground operations.

Captain Mark Rossi is an accredited fire officer and 25-year veteran with the City of Fort Lauderdale Fire Department currently assigned to Engine Company 8 in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Captain Rossi has been training and mentoring in one capacity or another since 2005.He is the founder of both the Big Fire- Big Water Class & the First Due Engine/Truck Class both born out of a passion for making the fire service better than he found it.

Sean is a frequent National and International speaker and hands-on instructor, including presenting at FDIC. In 2024, Sean was appointed to serve on the panel for the UL Fire Safety Research Institute's multi-story residential tactics research project. He strongly believes in preparation to achieve the best possible outcomes both on and off the fire ground.

Flow and Vent was founded by a couple firefighters who believed that there is more to the fire service than just being a t-shirt fireman. It is a page dedicated to providing some tricks to the firefighting trade. We are going to provide you with drills, methods, and insights on things that we have found effective in performing the job. Our administration is made of a breed of young firefighters, ranging from all walks of life, and completely different departments. However, we have one thing in common, we love the job.
