What is the BLADE?

The HEN® BLADE nozzle combines smooth bore performance with on-demand stream control. With a quick quarter turn, switch from a tight solid stream to a wide-angle BLADE pattern—boosting reach, coverage, and cooling. Large droplets hit harder, cool faster, and contract gases better. Built for control, comfort, and attacking the seat of the fire faster than before.

How the HEN Blade Firefighting Nozzle Works

Adjustable smooth bore nozzle

The HEN BLADE nozzle lets firefighters instantly switch from a solid stream to a wide BLADE pattern with a quarter-turn. Its patented design delivers large droplets for superior reach, coverage, and control—without added nozzle movement. It’s part of HEN’s mission to deliver smarter, safer, and more effective nozzle solutions built for the realities of today’s fireground.

KEY FEATURES

Adjustable Stream Control

The HEN BLADE firefighting nozzle features patented quarter-turn stream control, allowing firefighters to instantly switch between a powerful solid stream and a wide linear BLADE pattern. This adaptability ensures precise water application for structural fires, wildland firefighting, and WUI response.

Efficient Cooling & Gas Management

With large, high-velocity droplets, the HEN BLADE fire hose nozzle maximizes cooling and improves gas contraction, enhancing knockdown efficiency and thermal layer management in high-heat environments.

Engineered for Reliability

Crafted from durable, field-proven materials, the HEN BLADE nozzle is engineered for long-term reliability in extreme fireground conditions. Its rugged design stands up to heat, pressure, and repeated use without compromising fireground performance.

Designed for Comfort

Built with firefighter ergonomics in mind, the HEN BLADE fire nozzle reduces hand fatigue and improves handling during extended fire suppression and fire extinguishing operations. Its balanced, user-friendly design helps crews maintain control without unnecessary strain.

Quick Stream Adjustments

From direct attack to overhaul, the HEN BLADE fire nozzle enables fast, intuitive stream adjustments—giving firefighters unmatched control to handle changing conditions with one nozzle, one movement, and zero downtime.

Built for Versatility

Whether on the front line of a structural fire, wildland incident, or WUI zone, the HEN BLADE nozzle delivers consistent reach, cooling, and stream integrity. It’s the go-to nozzle for departments demanding flexible, high-performance fire suppression tools.

Stream Performance at Low Pressure

Designed for wildland firefighting, structural fire attack, and wildland-urban interface (WUI) operations, the HEN nozzle delivers reliable performance across multiple fireground environments.

Wildland & WUI

Watch as the HEN Wildland Nozzle delivers unmatched speed and accuracy in suppressing this fast-moving grass fire creating a wide and effective wet line for rapid containment.

Master Stream

The BLADE 500, 750, and 1000 deliver unmatched versatility and control, combining large droplet formation with variable velocity for superior stream stability, reach, and penetration. Its adjustable BLADE stream width and vertical-to-horizontal positioning allow for precise suppression in any fireground scenario.
