About the event

Join HEN and LN Curtis for a hands-on Demo Day at the Alaska Regional Fire Training Center hosted by Chief Jay Teague and the Kenai Fire Department, focused on real-world fireground performance in Alaska conditions.
This event brings together firefighters, officers, and neighboring departments from across the Kenai Peninsula for an interactive day of flowing water and hands-on equipment evaluation. Participants will experience modern suppression tactics designed for rural water operations, wind-driven conditions, reduced nozzle reaction, and improved water-application efficiency.
Attendees will have the opportunity to evaluate HEN nozzles side by side against traditional fog and smoothbore setups while gaining practical experience with structural and wildland applications in a controlled training environment. Discussions and demonstrations will focus on reducing firefighter fatigue, improving operational control, and maximizing effectiveness in limited-water-supply operations.
The day will include classroom instruction, live demonstrations, side-by-side comparisons, and hands-on flowing evolutions designed to give firefighters real-world reps with modern nozzle technology and fireground tactics.
