About the event

Join us at Fairfield Regional Fire School in Connecticut for a high-impact, hands-on training experience: HEN Engine Crew Clinic presented by Insight Fire Training.

The classroom session will be held at 205 Richard White Way, Fairfield, CT 06824, with hands-on evolutions and practical applications conducted on-site throughout the day.

Led by Andy Starnes of Insight Fire Training, this one-day program is built for engine company firefighters who want to sharpen performance on the nozzle, as the backup, and at the door. This is not a lecture-only event. It is a full-spectrum learning experience designed to improve fireground execution under pressure.

Schedule Highlights

  • 8:00–10:30 AM, Classroom Session

  • 10:30–11:30 AM, Hands-On Demonstrations

  • 11:30–12:30 PM, Lunch

  • 1:00–3:00 PM, Live Fire Attack Evolutions

  • 3:30–5:00 PM, Thermal Rebound Demonstration

Participants will work through nozzleman, backup firefighter, and doorman positions to better understand flow, stream placement, coordination, and interior decision-making. The focus is real-world evaluation with measurable results, not theory without application. Full PPE is required for all live evolutions. All attendees must complete the HEN waiver during registration.

If you are serious about improving engine company performance, refining water application, and strengthening your role on the line, this clinic is built for you. Secure your seat and train where performance meets pressure.
