About the event
Join us in Bowling Green, Kentucky, for a high-impact, hands-on training experience: HEN Engine Crew Clinic presented by Insight Fire Training.
Held at the Bowling Green Public Safety Training Center, this one-day program is led by Andy Starnes of Insight Fire Training and designed for engine company firefighters looking to improve fireground performance through practical, real-world application.
This is more than a classroom presentation. Participants will move from instruction to live demonstrations and hands-on evolutions focused on nozzle control, water application, stream placement, coordination, and interior operations.
Schedule Highlights
8:00–10:30 AM, Classroom Session
10:30–11:30 AM, Hands-On Demonstrations
11:30–12:30 PM, Lunch
1:00–3:00 PM, Live Fire Attack Evolutions
3:30–5:00 PM, Thermal Rebound Demonstration
Throughout the day, attendees will rotate through nozzleman, backup firefighter, and doorman positions to gain a deeper understanding of engine company tactics and decision-making under pressure. The focus is on measurable performance, practical skills, and lessons that can be immediately applied on the fireground.
Full PPE is required for all live evolutions. All attendees must complete the HEN waiver during registration.
If you're serious about improving engine company performance, refining water application, and building confidence on the line, this clinic is built for you.
Registration is required and closes 72 hours prior to the event. Walk-ins will not be accepted. Space is limited, and events often reach capacity, so reserve your spot early. For registration questions, please contact Michael Burrows at michael.burrows@hennozzles.com.
