2026 Dinges Fire Company Daze (Day Two) | Osceola, NE

Day two of the 2026 Dinges Fire Company Demo Daze moves from equipment demonstrations into hands-on firefighter training.

Participants will rotate through morning training stations focused on forcible entry, firefighter rescue, water mapping, nozzle operations, and rapid water delivery. Afternoon sessions will feature live-fire training in the Class A training tower and vehicle fire attack.

Firefighters will experience HEN nozzle performance and water application in realistic conditions while working alongside experienced instructors, the Dinges Fire Company training cadre, and participating manufacturers.

Training Stations

• Forcible entry and door-control training

• FAST Board and Anderson Rescue operations

• Thermal imaging applications

• HEN nozzle operations and water mapping

• IDEX SAM BOOST deployment, fast-water delivery, and hose stretches

• Structure-fire suppression

• FAST Board and rescue operations under live-fire conditions

• Vehicle fire attack and booster-line backup operations

Schedule

7:00 AM Check-in, coffee, and doughnuts

8:00 AM to 9:00 AM Opening session with Ray McCormack and Nick Dinges

9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Morning hands-on training, approximately 45-minute rotations

12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Lunch provided

1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Afternoon live-fire training, approximately two-hour rotations

Participation Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older

• Must hold Firefighter I (FF1) certification

• Must be an active member in good standing with a fire department

• Must bring and wear full PPE, including SCBA, for all hands-on activities

Those who do not meet the participation requirements may attend only as observers.
