HEN Engine Crew Clinic with Ray McCormack | Tucson, AZ

Join us at the Northwest Fire District Training Center in Arizona for a high-impact, hands-on training experience: HEN Engine Crew Clinic presented by Ray McCormack.

Led by Ray McCormack, this one-day program is built for engine company firefighters who want to elevate their performance on the nozzle, as the backup, and at the door. This is not a lecture-only event. It is a complete learning experience focused on improving coordination, control, and decision-making where it matters most, on the fireground.

Schedule Highlights

7:00 AM – Registration and paperwork

8:00 AM–11:30 AM – Classroom Sessions: Nozzleman, Backup, & Doorman presentations focused on mechanics, positioning, and coordinated operations

11:30 AM–12:30 PM – Lunch provided by HEN

1:00 PM–4:00 PM – Hands-On Training (HOT)

Participants will rotate through nozzleman, backup firefighter, and doorman positions to develop a deeper understanding of flow control, hose management, crew coordination, and interior operations. Training is built around real-world application and measurable performance, not theory alone. Full PPE is required for all hands-on activities, and all attendees must complete the required HEN waiver.
